Empowering Education provides a weekly food Kitchen to the community, where nutritious meals are provided in a warm, safe, and loving environment - free of charge, no questions asked, to anyone who comes seeking nourishment and support. The meals are either donated by individuals/volunteers or sponsored by local businesses.
We aim to create
We aim to create an open space in which people feel welcome and supported. We want our guests to feel part of the family. As part of our service, we also encourage our guests in accessing community services and educational programs.
We are always supporting
We are always supporting our local food banks and anyone in need. We believe by giving back to the community we are helping people feel less lonely, isolated and are making them aware of many other services available to support them.
We offer free hot meals
We offer free hot meals every Thursday to support local people, families, single mothers, the deprived community, and the homeless to ensure that no one goes hungry in Luton. We offer this Free service every Thursday from 5-6.30pm. We have also provided half-term holiday meals for children and families during the October half term.

We also reached out to the community by supporting the elderly, vulnerable and lonely where our team of volunteers supported them with shopping trips, essential errands such as collecting prescriptions, having friendly chats, and supporting them to get online digitally. We supported single parents by dropping food parcels to them as well as daily supplies. All this was only possible with our volunteers, sponsors and everyone we worked with.
